Golf Savings Bank's Mountlake Terrace Administrative Department has an immediate opening for a Shipping Specialist

Summary:
Responsible for shipping recently closed loan files to the new investor of record or designee.  This position would also involve following-up for any missing documentation needed to complete the loan package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reviews loan file(s) for completeness and places lender/investor required loan documents in the lender/investor preferred stacking order.
2. Audits funded files for completion and investor requirements. Determines missing documentation and notifies superiors/lenders of missing documentation.
3. Follows-up for missing documentation from lender/escrow, title, recorder's office, etc.
4. Copies files and maintains file organization.
5. Ships files to meet investor lock commitments.
6. Records shipping info in loan origination system (LOS).
7. Follows up for final HUD-1's.
8. Ensures MERS registration is included on each package.
9. Ensures all government loans have proper documentation for insurance.
10. Sends loan file(s) to lender/investor within established time frames.
11. Reviews trailing documents and forwards them to investor.
12. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Project organization and task management skills.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• A creative and innovative approach on problem solving issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, display tact and diplomacy in communications with clients and coworkers.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Some funding experience required.
